I'm a Vancouver-based composer, and this little corner of the internet is where my musical creations live. Welcome!
My chamber works have been performed by the Viano Quartet, winners of the Banff International String Quartet Competition, as well as at the West Coast Amateur Musicians Society Summer Festival and in private concerts.
Before focusing on composition, I performed as an oboist and English horn player with ensembles across British Columbia, including the Postmodern Camerata, the Vancouver Philharmonic Orchestra, the West Coast Symphony Orchestra, and the National Concert Band of Canada. As a vocalist, I've performed for an audience of 50,000 people with Andrea Bocelli as a member of his concert choir. I've sung with Phoenix Chamber Choir for multiple seasons and co-founded the Simon Fraser University A Cappella Choir, where I served as music director.
Today, my compositional work is driven by a desire to create accessible, emotionally compelling concert music that connects with young audiences and invites new listeners into the classical music tradition.
